Oppo Unveils Line of “Productive” Internet of Things Products
The three internet of things (IoT) products by Oppo are intended to help users be productive and stick to their New Year resolutions.
The Oppo Band 2: A Smart Life Assistant Using the Internet of Things
The first of Oppo’s three new internet of things products is the Oppo Band 2, a smartwatch featuring an “ultra-clear” screen, as well as a variety of features to help users lead a healthy lifestyle.
The Band 2 contains more than 100 workouts, and can automatically detect activities such as walking and running, or using an elliptical or rowing machine. Oppo says its new product also has improved running features, so that heart rate can be monitored via the HeyTap app.
Furthermore, users of the Oppo Band 2 can gain access to their health data and sleeping patterns, with options to detect the wearer’s heart rate and blood oxygen. Meanwhile, OSleep feature helps users arrange their sleep schedules, and can monitor the different phases of sleep, along with oxygen levels.
Keeping Users Productive With the Oppo Pad Air
The lightweight Oppo Pad Air is just 440g, and features “the industry’s first 3D finishing technology and exclusive metal splicing design,” with a thin build and large screen. A 7,100 mAh battery means users can use their device on-the-go without concerns about running out of charge.
The Pad Air functions as a notebook or even as a replacement for a laptop, with a series of features to help users accomplish their personal and professional ambitions. A new clipboard-sharing feature uses the internet of things to allow users to connect to the Pad Air and work in sync using a different device. The futuristic function gives users the chance to touch and transport files from one device to another using a tip of a finger.
Oppo says it has replicated the “pen-to-paper experience” via its smart stylus, with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and five grams of water pressure too.
Oppo Enco Buds2: “Learn Something New”
The new Oppo Enco Buds2 have a range of uses, from listening to audiobooks and podcasts to tuning into music or taking phone calls too. The 10mm titanium-coated speakers act as a portable subwoofer, offering dependable sound quality for listeners.
The Buds2 feature noise cancellation technology, which can separate human voices from the background noises around you, making it easy to take phone calls when out and about.
Internet of things technology means users can control connected devices via the earbuds, with the earphones featuring “simple and smart tapping functionalities.” Furthermore, the long-lasting 28 battery life makes the Buds2 suitable for long stretches away from home.
Oppo Introduces O Relax App “to Find Moments of Calm”
The O Relax application features on the Reno8 Pro 5G and other Oppo devices with ColorOS 12.1, with a range of features to help users “experience moments of calm and tranquillity with their smartphone.”
O Relax features a library of audio files, from relaxing music to natural sounds, that can be used to help users fall asleep, unwind or meditate. Sounds like white noise can be used to help users focus and clear the mind, Oppo claims.
Sounds of the City has been noted as a key feature, offering ambient sounds recorded from cities such as Beijing, Tokyo and Reykjavik.
“The feature presents lively sounds such as the hustle and bustle of a busy subway to calming and quiet sounds like the pitter-patter of rain on a windowsill enabling users to block out the chaos of life and immerse themselves in a calming experience,” Oppo says in a press release.
O Relax also contains deep breathing exercises and relaxation games, which use audio and haptic feedback to help users control their breathing.
